British SkyDiving Ambassador - Johnny Buffong, one of the few Black British Skydivers will be skydiving on Friday 26th September to raise urgently needed funds for www.Bayo.uk — a vital platform that connects Black young people to mental health support, resources, and culturally relevant services.

Bayo.uk is dedicated to breaking the stigma, increasing access, and empowering young Black individuals to get the help they desperately need and deserve and because there has been an increase in demand for suicide support we are asking for your help!

Our aim is to raise £10000 to:

Starting in March 2025

The Association of Black Psychologists and Rethink Mental Illness are partnering to deliver a series of 8 emotional emancipation circles (EEC) in North West London. This pilot project aims to explore an alternative way of improving mental health for Black communities. This project has been commissioned by North West London ICB.

What are emotional emancipation circles?
EECs are guided spaces for individuals to explore the impact that race has on their lives and to learn ways of coping, managing, and talking about it.

Whilst EECs are not therapy groups, the impact that they have aims to be therapeutic.

TO NOTE: We understand that there may be a lot of interest in this project. On this occasion, we have decided that this project will focus on Black men, as they are overrepresented but under supported in mental health services.”
