BAYO means 'Joy has found us' in Yoruba and it is a space to find collectives, organisations and services from across the UK -- for the Black community -- to support your mental health and wellbeing, and it is run by The Ubele Initiative.
We are continuously adding new organisations to the directory and have a link that you can use to tell us about organisations that have been useful to you that others may like to know about.
If you are a community based organisation or individual that provides mental health and wellbeing services to diverse young people from the black community, we will like you to join the BAYO platform and automatically become a member of the Network which provides you with access to free bespoke learning packages, peer to peer support, networking and access to a small grant program.

In remembrance of our dear friend and colleague, it is with much sadness that we share the news of the passing of our much appreciated team member Tashini Jones. Her absence will certainly be felt.
Now our thoughts and prayers are with Tashini's family and loved ones as they navigate through this profound loss. May they find comfort in the cherished memories and the enduring legacy of their loved one.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our valued team member, Yvonne Witter.
Yvonne was a powerhouse and was beloved by many from all walks of life. Throughout her life she was an Activist, Strategist, Author, Researcher and a champion of Equality and Social Justice.
Yvonne will be deeply missed by us all at BAYO.
