On Thursday 11 September 2025, Talking Taboos hosted an event in London to mark World Suicide Prevention Day, exploring the taboo of silenced suicidal thoughts. Talking about these thoughts is key to prevention, yet stigma often makes it difficult for people to open up. At the same time, many who want to help feel unsure or fearful about raising the topic, often due to myths about the risks.
